Description
This painting was one that I did and set aside for many months. I didn't have a title, so I knew it wasn't finished. When I picked it up a few months later, I knew it was about a young person leaving home. I added some definition to the feet and added a shoulder bag to take it a little closer to it's meaning. I'm not sure exactly where the skeletal-like imagery, particularly in the back and pelvis came from and sometimes it's like that as abstract work has its own flow and consciousness, as well as that of the person painting it.
